There's a version of you who writes with ease.
Who trusts what wants to come through.
Who isn't forcing or overthinking or pushing.

But somewhere along the way—
life got loud.
Your nervous system got tired.
And the writing became harder to access.

This retreat is a return.

Not to productivity.
Not to pressure.

But to flow.

🌿 WHAT THIS RETREAT IS

This is not a workshop.
This is not about producing something perfect.

This is a nervous-system-aware writing retreat designed to help you:

  • Soften out of urgency and pressure
  • Reconnect with your body and intuition
  • Access a more open, creative state
  • Write from a place that feels alive again

Through a blend of restorative practices, spacious writing time, and intimate connection, you'll be supported in finding your way back to your own creative rhythm.

🧘‍♀️ THE FLOW STATE APPROACH

Creativity doesn't come from force.
It comes from a regulated, receptive nervous system.

That's why this retreat weaves together:

✨ Nervous System Support

We'll begin Friday with a deeply restorative, nervous-system-centered practice to help you settle into your body and access a more intuitive, open creative state.

  • Guided myofascial release yoga session
  • Gentle integration time afterward
  • Space to let insights surface naturally

🔥 Ritual + Integration

On Friday evening, we'll gather for a sound bath ritual, including guided meditation, a fire ceremony, a salt bowl ritual, and quiet free-writing afterward. A space to release, reset, and reconnect.

✍️ Spacious Writing Time

You'll have extended, uninterrupted time to write in solitude, follow your own creative threads, respond to optional prompts, and rest when needed. No pressure. No deadlines. Just space.

🏜️ THE EXPERIENCE

What makes this retreat different is the environment it creates—one specifically designed for rest, reconnection, and creative restoration.

🏡 Your Own Private Tiny Home

Each participant will have her own private tiny home—a space to retreat, rest, write, and be fully alone when you need it.

  • Private bathroom
  • Cozy, beautiful design
  • Your own door to close

This is your space.

🌿 WHO THIS IS FOR

This retreat is for women who:

  • Feel disconnected from their creative flow
  • Are tired of forcing or overthinking their writing
  • Want space to reconnect with themselves
  • Crave both solitude and meaningful connection
  • Are ready to prioritize their creative life

You don't need to be "working on a project."

You just need to be willing to show up.

Over the past decade of leading writing workshops, Steph has seen a consistent truth.

Writing personal stories is powerful, but something shifts when those words are shared in the right space.

This retreat was created for that moment.

Not just to write, but to be witnessed with care. To be received without judgment, pressure, or performance.

In this setting, writing is sacred and personal without being isolating. Steph holds space so participants can explore their stories in a way that feels safe and grounding.

When women are given time, safety, and space to write honestly and be seen and heard with care, everything softens. Clarity deepens. Connection forms. And trust in their own voice grows.

Workshop Host:

Steph Sprenger

Stephanie Sprenger is a writer, producer, and creative writing facilitator who has built her work around one core belief: women's voices are powerful and our stories are essential. And we are even stronger when we create and share in community. Known for her honest voice and refusal to sugarcoat the hard stuff, Steph creates conversations that are real, bold, and deeply human. She speaks to the woman who feels the tension between who she’s been and who she is becoming. Her work isn’t about reinvention. It’s about reclamation.

Steph is the founder of The Pause, a creative community for midlife women, Editor-in-Chief of THREE, and Executive Producer of Listen To Your Mother Boulder. Her memoir NOSTALGIA JUNKIE will be published in December 2026 by Third Rail Press.
